The Electronic Music Alliance (EMA) is pleased to announce a holiday food drive at Ancient Future’s “Neverland” themed party for First Fridays in Phoenix on December 2nd at the Unexpected Gallery from 9pm-2am.

The food drive is organized by EMA Advisory Board Member, Phu Styles, in collaboration with Ancient Future producer, Lyle Maxson, following a volunteer excursion/ business meeting where the two discussed conscious business collaboration in the EDM festival culture, while serving 1000 Thanksgiving meals to those in need with The Salvation Army of Phoenix. “Partying with a purpose is the ethos behind both EMA and Ancient Future, hence a holiday food drive is a perfect collaboration to close out a momentous 2016 for the electronic dance community”, says Styles.

Ancient Future is a monthly music festival where hundreds gather to uplift themselves through Humanitarian, Artistic, Technological and Spiritual Endeavors.

This month, Ancient Future’s Neverland adventure theme is built like a video game:

“You are the hero searching through Hangman’s Tree sound healing, Mermaid Cuddle Puddle photo booth, and Pirate Nerf Gun battles for a pass into Captain Hook’s velvet prison to search for buried treasure. LED toys are exalted, Sound Healings are plentiful, beautiful women buff your bottom to EDM beats, and you have to dance through a land of Sexy Mermaids, Adventurous Pirates, and Magical Fairies to get past a Crocodile Security Guard to a sexy-leather bound Captain Hookah and search for buried Kandi.”

Ancient Future is a curation of Phoenix’s most cutting edge and budding culture of Live Painters, Art Installations, World Class Aerialists, Poi Spinners, LED Hoopers, LED Winged Dancers, EDM musicals, local food vendors, mixologists, face painters, galaxy lights, looping guitarists, flow pods, mermaid lagoons, DJ’s on 2 stages in an 8,000 sf venue and so much more.

The Electronic Music Alliance is hosting a booth for the holiday food drive. All food donations will be given to the Salvation Army of Phoenix.

ALL Attendees are encouraged to bring a minimum of 2 non-perishable canned food items.
